From the toolbox of the Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) you will find the sound of your voice and pick out what you need. No more and no less. This also has pleasant side effects in everyday life. For example, if you want to order a drink at the bar in a crowded restaurant, you will be heard and won’t die of thirst. Or after a concert where you sing along loudly and with fervor, you are no longer hoarse because you know exactly what you have to do to sing loudly.<\/p>\n

It grates on me that people keep saying that you can’t learn to sing after a certain age. I’m here to dispel this myth once and for all and refresh your life with singing.<\/p>\n

WHY CAN I DO THAT?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I actually have Catherine Sadolin to thank here. She invented the Complete Vocal Technique (\u201cCVT\u201d) and thus laid the foundation for my vocal development. I started training at the Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen for purely selfish reasons. To develop my singing further. To stop feeling weird because I only started singing at the age of 30. To finally master those damn high notes without the weird squeaking and without feeling like someone was strangling me<\/p>\n

After I checked into the Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen for the first time, everything developed very quickly. After the button opened for me thanks to CVT, I wanted to shout out into the world: \u201cGirls, there is hope! We grown-up women can learn to sing too!\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

To be able to teach CVT, you need more than just being able to use the technique yourself. That’s why it was important to me to complete the 3-year teacher training in Copenhagen after the 2 years at the Complete Vocal Institute. In June 2020 I graduated as an \u201cAuthorized Complete Vocal Technique Teacher\u201d. Woohooo!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A humorous, empathetic and respectful approach is important to me. And the philosophy behind CVT fits like a glove. There’s nothing pretentious or pretentious about it. Anyone can sing – at any age. So can you.<\/p>\n

    • Inspiring you to learn to sing and seeing your eyes light up when you hit that damn difficult note without a second thought.<\/li>\n
    • Standing on stage and entertaining my audience. Singing and sometimes with a few stories.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Rhyming. I shake banal rhymes out of my sleeve like nothing.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Writing. Texts of all kinds. Song lyrics, texts for websites, diaries, shopping lists.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Defacing language and giving words new meanings.<\/span><\/li>\n

      WHAT WAS BEFORE?\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      Before music took me over completely, i worked in an industry known as „dry“. I worked for 13 years as a marketing manager in one of the world’s largest accounting firms (Deloitte). Gradually, things became more and more creative and my contact with artists increased. First as an account manager at Perndl+Co-B\u00fcro f\u00fcr Grafikdesign and afterwards as an Office Manager in the Director’s Office of the MAK – Museum of Applied Arts.<\/p>\n

      In 2013, I made the decision to become self-employed in order to have enough time for music and my band \u201cJump The Curb\u201d. However, it wasn’t until a little later that I had the courage to focus on music, even when I was self-employed. I was only persuaded to do this after I had recovered from breast cancer. Better this way than not at all. But I don’t regret any of the detours. Based on my experience, I can also give you advice on things like WordPress websites and at the same time I know how important it is that you listen to yourself and take care of yourself and – of course – your voice.<\/p>\n

      Singing lessons are something intimate. Especially when we sing, we expose our innermost being. Not everyone wants to be seen or heard. Some don’t even want to hear themselves at first. Maybe you feel the same way. But don’t let that put you off, you’re safe with me.<\/p>\n
